This is a shorter first-pass screen for DAAD PRIME. It focuses on the doctorate timing window, the mobility rule, and a small set of obvious follow-up flags. It intentionally does not reproduce the long host-structure and readiness questionnaire.

What this version checks

Doctorate completed already or plausibly completed before the funding period starts.
Approximate time since doctorate, with career breaks left available as a manual-review factor.
No more than 12 months in the planned outgoing host country during the last 36 months.
Whether previous DAAD PRIME funding needs follow-up review.

What you still need to verify separately

The full German host, employment, and return-phase structure required by the live call.
Whether the planned outgoing and return hosts are acceptable under the current programme rules.
Any host-confirmation or document requirements in the live DAAD call.
Any case where career-break evidence or prior funding needs documentary interpretation.
